Frontier Bakery
Wholesale flatbread/naan/pita manufacturer · Mississauga, GTA
Frontier Bakery's own site tells wholesale buyers to email a personal address or 'chat on WhatsApp' to place orders for a plant shipping 18M+ units a year to Costco and Loblaws -- worth 15 minutes with Rajinder Thind's team about a self-serve buyer ordering portal?
Why they need it
Frontier ships 18M+ units/year of naan, pita and flatbread to Costco, Walmart, Sobeys, Loblaws and Farm Boy out of its BRC-certified Mississauga plant, yet the site's own contact channels for new wholesale orders are a personal-style email address ([email protected]) and a "Chat with us on WhatsApp" button, both confirmed live on the homepage. A B2B ordering portal for retail buyers and distributors -- showing live SKU availability, case-pack pricing, order history and delivery windows -- would replace that email/WhatsApp intake, cut order-entry errors during peak retail promo cycles, and let category managers self-serve reorders instead of waiting on a WhatsApp reply. Pairing it with an internal production-scheduling view linking incoming orders to the certified line schedule would help the plant sequence output against real demand instead of forecasts. Whoever currently keys phone/WhatsApp/email orders into an internal system would save hours weekly, and retail buyers get the self-service visibility they already expect from a supplier at this scale.
Tech gaps
No B2B ordering portal for retail buyers/distributors; wholesale order intake confirmed live as a personal-style email address plus a WhatsApp chat button; no visible order-tracking or production-scheduling system for customers
Current tech
Marketing website with a confirmed "Chat with us on WhatsApp" button and a named individual's personal-style email address as the wholesale contact; BRC AA/HACCP/Halal/Kosher certified 40,000 sq ft plant producing 18M+ units/year for Costco, Walmart, Sobeys, IGA, Loblaws, Farm Boy and Longo's

Objections (1)
- “Can't we just use a template?”
- Templates are the reason the spreadsheet exists. If a template fit, you would already be on it.
