Centre Point Marina
Marina · Bobcaygeon, Central Ontario
I noticed Centre Point's booking and service requests all route through a Hotmail inbox - during the Bobcaygeon summer rush, how are you keeping track of who's asked for a slip versus who's waiting on a repair?
Why they need it
Centre Point Marina publishes a Hotmail address as its business email and no pricing, no online booking, and no service ticket system for a marina that runs summer dockage, winter storage (indoor, covered, and shrink-wrap), and marine mechanic services on Sturgeon Lake. Every dockage reservation, storage booking, and repair request currently has to come in by phone or a generic inbox with no tracking, which means requests can slip through during the summer rush. A simple booking and service-ticket web app - customers request a slip or storage spot and see real-time availability, submit a repair job with photos, and get status updates by email/SMS - would replace the Hotmail-and-phone workflow with something a small team can actually track, reduce double-booked slips, and give the owner a paper trail for winter storage liability instead of relying on memory and a notebook.
Tech gaps
No online dockage/storage booking; no published pricing; no service ticket tracking for repairs; business email is a free Hotmail account
Current tech
Static informational website; Hotmail address as the business inbox; no pricing or online booking published
Selling a web app
PlaybookA purpose-built application for one workflow that runs the business, quoting, ordering, booking, or reporting.

Objections (1)
- “Can't we just use a template?”
- Templates are the reason the spreadsheet exists. If a template fit, you would already be on it.
