Chatham-Kent Veterinary Hospitals
Multi-location small animal veterinary hospital group · Chatham, Southwestern Ontario
Running four clinics across Chatham, Blenheim, Ridgetown and Wallaceburg with a separate booking form at each must make it hard to get one view of the group - I'd love to show Jennifer what a shared booking and ops dashboard could do.
Why they need it
Chatham-Kent Veterinary Hospitals runs four separate clinics, Chatham, Blenheim, Ridgetown (South Ridge) and Wallaceburg, each with its own address, phone number and generic 'Book Appointment' web form, tied together only by a shared after-hours emergency line and General Manager Jennifer Knights, RVT. That's the classic multi-site pain point: four front desks each independently taking calls and web-form requests, with no visible shared client record letting a client seen in Chatham be recognized if they call the Wallaceburg location, and no group-level dashboard for Knights to see booking load or patient volume across all four sites at once. A centralized booking portal plus an internal ops dashboard would let any location see a shared calendar and client history, let clients book at whichever site is convenient without re-registering, and give the GM a single view of the four-clinic operation instead of coordinating by phone and fax between locations.
Tech gaps
No unified client portal or shared patient record system across the four locations; each site's booking is a standalone generic form rather than a real-time, group-wide scheduling system
Current tech
Four separate location pages (Chatham, Blenheim, Ridgetown/South Ridge, Wallaceburg) each with its own generic 'Book Appointment' web form and phone number, plus a shared after-hours emergency line; Dr. Daksh Mandot and Dr. Ingrid Walker named at the Chatham site along with GM Jennifer Knights and managers Kerri and Christine
Selling a portal + ops tool
PlaybookA customer-facing portal and the internal tool behind it, built together so the data is entered once.
- Lead with whichever side hurts more today; the other side is phase two.
- One data model means the customer sees exactly what the office sees.
Objections (1)
- “That is a big project.”
- It is two small ones in a row. You see the first working before you commit to the second.
